How to Fix NTLDR is Missing in Windows XP
Here is Simple Tutorial To Fix that Error

Note:
*You need Windows XP Cd

Step 1:
- FirsT Insert Windows XP Cd into CD/DVD ROM drive
-
**Make sure that BIOS priority is set to boot to CD/DVD ROM drive** - Now if it is Prompt for Press Any Key then Press any Key From keyboard like C
- Now You Will see Two Options in Menu
- => Select To Second Option By Just Pressing " R " from Keyboard
Xp Setup Menu
Press Any key now |

- Now Follow this
- Type This Command
- Copy Your CD Drive Letter:\i386\ntdetect.com C:\
- Note:
- For Eg: Mine is F: Replace Your CD Drive Letter:\ To your CD drive Letter.
Command is like type those both command into it.
- Copy F:\i386\ntldr C:\
- and Press Enter Key
- Copy F:\i386\ntdetect.com C:\
- and Press Enter Key
Commads for Fixing NTLDR |
To Checks Its Copied or Not, Now Type
- DIR C:
- This Command will Shows all Files present in that C driver
Now Done you will see that both files is now copied
- Now Type :
- Exit
- and Press Enter Key
Done Its Fixed

Hi bro, i did same as above for NTLDR missing error, but again, it is showing fastdetect is missing....

Step 2:
Recovery Console Xp
You Will See 1: C:\Windows
Now Type This
bootcfg /rebuild
Once its Done press Y

if problem is not fixed then do this
Now again Type
bootrec /FixMbr
bootrec /Fixboot
bootred /RebuildBcd
